Is there a combination more giddily delightful than railroad strolls and citrus frozen treats? I don’t think so! And with that addressed, I bring you my next outfit post complete with said strolls. Here I am wearing a dress by Adelaide bespoke designer, Madeline the Label which is right up my alley with it’s sixties silhouette and modern exclusive print. I paired this dress with a set of sling backs that are both comfortable and dressy. I completed the look with this record case of a similar hue to my lipstick. Sourced locally from Hype & Seek who sell incredible vintage wares, the case that traditionally stores 7-inch vinyl did an excellent job of containing my mobile and wallet. So just for the record*, it also works as a good bag.

*I am not to be trusted with puns.

Black Sabbath Tee • Finders Keepers Walk The Line Jeans • Rubi Shoes • Bulgari Bracelet

This pair of jeans has been on high rotation and the print is a dead ringer for the statement design of the Chloe Pre Fall 2014 collection. It’s fun to clash things every now and then, giving a new spin on an old garment. With tickets acquired for a few upcoming concerts, my band tee status will surely heighten. I’m anticipating putting together a few looks with said band tees almost as much as attending the gigs. Well, not quite but almost.

Something stirred inside of me when I first laid eyes on these Finders Keepers pieces. It triggered off a series of possible ways and occasions to style them. I usually think of versatility in the form of monochromatic basics but I’ve created a few different looks. I’ve been sporting this blouse with black shorts and layered necklaces for a daytime look when running errands. Then pairing this skirt with a band tee, rolled up sleeves and heels for evening frivolities.

The chartreuse blouse particularly reminds me of the sixties. I’m tempted to buy the matching skirt to wear on Halloween for a modern take on Tippi from The Birds. Anyone who knows me knows that I’m quite the Hitchcock enthusiast, sans the blonde appeal of course.
